Such a cute rabbit! Love the story!
This is the first story I read from this site, and I love it, this story specifically was fun and reading it in Japanese and trying hard not to use a translator or dictionary made it challenging but it turns out I understood most of it. On to the next one!
This is a story about the god of happiness pretending to be poor and then testing mortals. All the arrogant people drive the poor away, only a woman who keeps rabbits treats her with onigiri, so she brings happiness to the kind family. So a good deed is rewarded. Not sure what the reason is that God goes to the Earth.
