What is tadoku?
Tadoku is very simple: reading a lot of books of your own choice at your own pace so you can take in Japanese without translating. Start with very easy books with many pictures, and you can actually enjoy reading in Japanese without using a dictionary. Eventually many Kanji will start to look familiar and make sense, and reading in Japanese will feel natural to you.
Our Graded ReadersThese readers are tuned for tadoku so beginners can read and enjoy an enormous amount of Japanese. They come with pronunciation hints for all kanji as well as illustrations and audio recording.
Tadoku-friendly booksWe have chosen and graded books for the Japanese audience that are suitable for Japanese language learners.
