前便の学生が書いてきたプレゼンテーションの原稿と、
わたしがそれを「添削」した原稿をお見せします。
添削になっていないではないか！ とお怒りの方もいらっしゃるかな？
ところが、ところが、この添削で内定が出た・・・

多読的おしゃべりの特徴は「こども式」ということです。
つまり、正しく話しているかどうかは気にしないで、
（原始的欲求にしたがって）伝えたいことをとにかく伝える！
入社試験のプレゼンテーションで「きょういちばんよい」と
褒められた学生の原稿を紹介します。
最初は本人が直してくださいといって送ってきた原稿そのままです。
なお、YYYとXXXは学生の名前と、その学生に内定を出した会社の名前ですが、
どっちがどっちか、混同しています。文脈でご判断ください・・・

とりあえず、こんな感じで作りました。
（かっこ）の中はどっちを使ったらいいか分からなかったため、先生に選んでいただきたいです。
通じないところ、間違っているところ、指摘お願いいたします。
最後のあたりは時間によって、もう少し増やそうと思います。

So I have a pleasant College life.
I want to realize my dream in YYY with these characteristic of me.
First, I’ll improve my skill as a professional engineer.
Second, by the skill and I’ll improve English skill,
I want to become an international engineer.
I want to receive my skill in the World.
Third, I wish the business of me is to link of technology.
Final, I’ll want to produce new engine that It is good for the environment.
Now, a car isn’t good for the environment. So I’ll can do it in XXX.
次は上のメールに対するわたしの返信です。「添削」して返信しています。
大文字のところがわたしが提案した書き直し点です。
間違いを直していないところがいくつもあります。
よいぞ！ ＸＸＸさんの英語力にぴったりの英文だから、
覚えやすいと思うし、うまく表現できると思う。
細かい文法は直していません。そんなことは問題じゃない。
ＸＸＸさんが自分の言葉で堂々と自分を表現することだ。

これからしばらく、わたしは Fluency/Accuracy ということを話題にしますが、
幸いにして、いきなり fluency のほうが accuracy より優先だよ、というよい例が
現れました。
上の学生XXXさんは、前便に書いたように上の二つ目のプレゼンテーションで褒められて、きのう内定をもらったわけです。
上の英文は accuracy が足りません。
でも、XXXさん自身が書いた原稿は自分に合った、素直な英文だったので、
きっとプレゼンテーションのときに英文原稿が前に出ずに、伝えたい気持ちが
前に出たのでしょう。
そこで、前便でも引用した
「確かに英語は得意でないことがわかった。他の人は正しく難しい英語を必死でやっていたが、間違っていても君の方が伝えたい事がよく分かり、今日の中で１番良いプレゼンだった」
という評がもらえた・・・
わたしたちは、家庭でも学校でも、教室でも試験でも、
「間違えてはいけない」とたたき込まれます。
そこで、英語を話すときも書くときも、緊張します。
「正しい」よりも「流れること」に注意を移せば、肩の力が抜けて
言葉はまず出てきます。それで相手の様子を見て、伝わっていなければ
違う言い方やジェスチャーや物で伝えてみる・・・
またしても、言葉は白い紙に黒く印刷された文字だけではないことを思わされます。
言葉は世界と結びついていて、それをわたしたちが紡いで、物語にしていくもの
なのでしょう。
多読的おしゃべり会から、「話す」につながる新しい道が見えてきました。
のんたさん、カイさん、赤ちゃん並みの人、多読的おしゃべり会（南南南会）に来てくれた人、みなさんに感謝です。
